Chocolate oatmeal donuts
For this recipe we are going to use 100 grams of oat flour , a natural yogurt , 50 grams of agave syrup as a sweetener, two eggs , half a packet of yeast , a teaspoon of vanilla essence , the zest of half a lemon , a teaspoon of cinnamon , a little salt and 50 grams of chopped chocolate with at least 70% cocoa.
Solid ingredients integrate everything and reserve . In a bowl
, beat the holes with the yogurt, the agave syrup, the lemon zest and the vanilla essence . With everything already beaten, it's time
to integrate the flour and oat mixture into the bowl little by little until it forms a homogeneous mass . The chocolate pieces are added to the dough.
The end is to use a little vegetable oil or butter in the molds to add the dough without covering and
bake for about 10 minutes at 170 degrees . After that time, you have to check the cooking point with a toothpick. If when you put it in the donuts it comes out clean, the recipe will be finished. If it's still wet, bake for a couple more minutes.
Oatmeal fitness donuts, alternative recipe
Another formula for preparing fit donuts is
to use the same base ingredients , but introducing alternatives in the finish.
In this case we are going to continue using the same amount of oatmeal, two eggs, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt,
we change the lemon zest for half orange peel, and add 60 grams of olive oil , 40 grams of Greek yogurt, sweetener that can be agave or erythritol syrup, a few drops of vanilla extract and
20 grams of granulated almonds . For the finish you can use cinnamon powder or milk powder.
The recipe is very similar in preparation.
You can even add orange zest to the flour mixture . The beaten egg with the oil, the softened butter, the yogurt and the sweetener are the base to later bind the solid part.
The time to pour the dough into the molds is the same as in the previous recipe. You have to let the dough sit well in the mold, but here,
instead of baking, we cook in the microwave for about 90 seconds , a minute and a half, and 800 several, a high power. When removing them, you do not have to demold them immediately. The finish consists of
pouring a little cinnamon or powdered milk or also defatted cocoa .
Fit carrot donuts
The third option to prepare healthy donuts also includes oatmeal, two eggs, sweetener, plain yogurt, olive oil, and baking powder. But to these ingredients is added
a little cinnamon , 200 grams of
grated carrot , 50 grams of
ground almonds and 30 grams of
walnuts . You can also add
light cream cheese .
For the preparation you have to
grate the carrots and add it to the dry ingredients : oatmeal, ground almonds, yeast, cinnamon and also add the sweetener, along with the chopped walnuts. In another bowl, beat the yogurt, olive oil and the two eggs.
With everything ready
, the flour mixture is integrated into the liquid component until a homogeneous mass is reached, which is poured into the greased molds and cooked directly in
the oven, for about 10 to 15 minutes , until lightly golden.
When the donuts are unmolded, place them on a wire rack to cool completely. The last step is
to beat the cream cheese with a little sweetener and cover the donuts with a spatula or spoon, including some pieces of walnuts or other nuts.
